I'm not sure if it has already been discussed here in the forum, a new single edge razor named Beiaya Razor that uses single edge blades, also written as a women's scraper. From buyer reviews I can't tell if it is good or has serious flaws.
There is one buyer's comment writes difficulty inserting the blade properly because it is immediately attracted by the magnet, so this prevents it from holding fixed and adhering the blade in the right position.
I already have other single edge razors better than this one but I am undecided whether to buy to try, it seems small as a razor.

"Women's Hair Scraper"? The head does look intriguingly like Tatara's design, complete with magnet. Coincidence, I'm sure.... Definitely a bargain by comparison though, and looks interesting, although it seems they ship it with a DE blade, and the magnet(s) may not be exactly positioned correctly. Small charge to find out, for the adventurous.

If you already have a Single edge blade or blades, it is a false problem. After all, this razor ,depending on the model you choose, is priced between $7 and $10 I don't remember ever finding a single edge razor at a lower price, of course then you have to figure out if the mechanism that locks the blade works properly. If it is not properly aligned it will not shave well. One would have to try it to understand it.

This is Tatara's design, and AFAIK the magnetic attachment is unique to this razor and theirs on any recent AC SE:

It's not a problem that they ship it with a DE (according to reviewers - who also say they ship it with one AC blade). It's a problem because it speaks to attention to detail, QC and knowledge of their own product - in addition to the advertising photos with 10 AC blades stacked beside it and the notation "10 pcs". But as you say, for 10 bucks, anyone can find out if it's worth $10 (less tax and shipping), and it's certainly the lowest priced SE you're likely to find other than disposable. It's OK for your expectations to be low, and then exceeded....

It depends on the cases, as you write you just need to pay attention to the details even if they showed a picture with ten single edge blades written 10 pcs, in the end when I try to order only the razor comes out.
I'm not in a hurry to purchase but I think I will.

Actually it's the Tatara Amakuni, which is a brand new design (and their first SE) introduced this year (or late 2024). And I don't know that they took the design directly, but the designs do look similar, and the attachment is unique. It's not necessarily a "copy," but the Chinese have never been shy about admitting "duplicating" and even improving intellectual property, and I'm certainly not saying that's the case here - the head looks slightly different from Tatara's from the front view. But...similar. Particularly since the Tatara is 30x more expensive, with at least similar engineering (minus the very likely better materials, fit and finish on the Tatara side) will be interested in your feedback if you purchase.

Yes it is - with reviewers complaining that they (understandably) expected to find 10 AC blades in the box. And unexpectedly found a DE blade.

Honestly I would rather NOT pay any extra for those blades as the ones they usually include are pretty horrible.. I would rather use my own blades anyway !!

I was glad to find that pic as I was curious about the way the blade sat. It " looks " like it might be a pretty solid 1 piece razor that has a TTO cap where you sit the AC blade in and then twist closed , of course I could be wrong. , but when the sale starts in 14 days that would probably be a good time to order and find out I guess !!

It's only $5.35 on the page I get. How much is it on sale? I don't see anything about the sale.
